“I’ve always loved bringing people together. It all started in my dad's hayfield as a teenager and carried on into my nursing career. After my divorce I started a social club that grew to over 4200 members and hosted more than 400 events. I met some amazing people and saw firsthand how effortlessly connections can form when people are simply enjoying activities they love —like live music, restaurants, hiking, trivia, and beyond.
But after I stopped hosting, I turned to dating apps—and it just felt... off. After meeting people in real-world experiences swiping through profiles felt empty—a waste of time and effort. And no matter how great the online chemistry was... well, you already know the answer.
That's why I created 37UpClub- a space where professionals 35-55ish can connect naturally through activity-based socials that spark authentic conversations without the pressure. No algorithms, no awkward icebreakers and definitely no "cringe-worthy, interview-style speed dating."No wonder guys hate those—I honestly felt sorry for them!
